About
Casa Gloria is a Christ-centered children's home located in the highlands of Guatemala in Alta Verapaz. The home was completed in January of 2016 and is home and refuge to 8 babies and 20 children maximum. Due to the court system, however, the children come and go and we are constantly receiving new children. Our profile includes children 0-10 years old (with exception of a sibling group) who have been orphaned, abandoned, or taken from their home due to violence and abuse. The children are raised here in a loving family environment until they are reunited with family, adopted, or old enough to be independent.
Casa Gloria provides medical care, on-going and on-site psychological care, social services, education, evangelism, and family. We are a high quality home, accredited by the Consejo Nacional de Adopciones of Guatemala, that focuses on the complete healing and individual needs of each child that is brought to us.

Sponsor a Child
We are excited to announce a new way for donors to be involved! We need 10 sponsors per child. For $35/month you can sponsor a child that currently lives in our home. The money you send will be used toward the complete healing and individual needs of each of our 18 children and will not go directly to one child. However, your donation will be made in honor of the child you sponsor. For sponsoring a child, you will...
- Receive a Gift! Receive a letter or drawing from the child during the year, or a photo or hand print if you are sponsoring an infant.
- Watch me Grow! A photo of the child each year during the sponsorship!
- Write Letters! Express your love and prayers to your child as often as you like!
- Hear my Voice! If you desire to call and speak with your child over the phone, you are more than welcome. All calls will be on speaker phone with a translator present and need to be pre-scheduled.
- Make a Visit! Visit with and hug your child in person if you ever come on a mission trip with Mision Vida Nueva. *note* Coming to Guatemala on your own or through another organization will not permit you to visit with the child you are sponsoring or any of the children of our home. MVN has a strict screening and scheduling process with volunteers that will not be conducted unless the volunteer comes through our ministry.*
